This week's block for the CCCQ Revisited is the final block of the quilt.
For comparison, here is the original.
The signature on this one is "Remember me when this you see, Jane Trayner, Lower Oxford 1852"
If you would like to try making this block (and who wouldn't) the pattern is discounted this week; you'll find it ready to download at Two Bits Patches.
The free promotion for the Round is the Ring e-book was better than expected. If you got your free copy I do hope you enjoy it. If you did enjoy it, a nice Amazon review is always appreciated. If you missed out, don't fret, it's still on Amazon and the price is not outrageous.
I'm going to be tackling (literally!) this block this week and I'm still debating how I'm going to sew those pinwheel circles - wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I was happy just to get them done, don't look too closely at the result. Your work is always lovely, looking forward to seeing your block.
DeleteJob well done on a very very difficult blocl!
ReplyDeleteThank you - it's one of my favourites now.
DeleteWow, that is an accomplishment! What a block!
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy. I was a beginner when I started this quilt, I certainly got a lot of practice in needleturn applique before the end.
DeleteI thoroughly enjoyed the book and wrote a review. Thank you for offering it as a free download to pique interest.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I really appreciate the review - positive reviews get a better ranking for the book on Amazon. Glad you enjoyed it.
